Icons and Graphics

All custom icons and graphics are available in Canva: Brand › MARS Wildlife Rescue › Icons / Graphics. These are provided for you, but generic icons and graphics from Canva can be used as well — just update their colours to the brand palette.

Icons

Two matching sets — standalone cut-outs and square icons. For example:

Do

  • Use one icon style per design — stick to either standalone or square icons
  • Use square icons when you need stronger visual emphasis or structure
  • Use icons to support information, not overwhelm it
  • Make sure icons are clear and easy to understand at a small size

Don’t

  • Don’t mix standalone and square icons in the same design
  • Don’t change icon styles halfway through a series of graphics
  • Don’t stretch, distort, or re-style icons
  • Don’t overuse icons so they compete with the main message
  • Don’t use icons as decoration — if they don’t add meaning, they should align with the information or text

Graphic Elements
